Holywell mill

This is where I live — a charming English country house restored during the latter half of the 19th century. It stands on the site of a 17th century mill, purchased at one stage by Merton College, before being sold to Magdalen around the turn of the century as a residence for married fellows. Now it houses the graduates. Today was a long day: rowing outing in the morning, Spanish class, work all day, fencing training, and now off to the MCR guest dinner, which promises to be delicious. I think a 1982 Oporto is being served with dessert.
