Gentoo Linux has now been decompressed, flagged, configured, linked, compiled, and executed. (Now I can sleep again.) I have also watched Das Rheingold and Die Walkure over the past few days. They are amazing operas, and make an excellent contrast to Salomé and Cinderella, the Opera Australia productions of which I saw live last week. Read more →

I finally remembered to access my semester marks (several days after their release); thankfully, the results were largely unsurprising.
