Up in the Other Place

Interesting day spent discussing secondary liability in civil law with judges, barristers and academics; met some interesting people and happened upon some good ideas for my thesis. Cambridge is certainly pretty, though for all its grandeur and open spaces, it seems to lack that inexpressible melancholy that pervades Oxford’s medieval quads and secret passageways.
