  • Sunset on the Gut

A busy day of supervisory meetings, IP lectures and orchestra rehearsals. Sunset cast golden rays along the river, catching the bark of this ancient tree. Read more →

  • Punting on the first

The first of March and a glorious, if brisk, day of sunshine. It almost feels like Melbourne in the heart of winter. Almost. Today consisted of reading, lectures and evening banter, in that order. Read more →

  • Trees on Christ Church meadow

Went for a jog after rowing and foolishly brought my camera. Promptly fell asleep, despite my greatest contrary efforts, upon arriving home, and worked until dusk, which is to say, not that long. Read more →

This stately door, no longer in use, leads to the antechapel at Magdalen College. I bought some nice organic goodies after this morning’s Spanish class, and proceeded to graze all afternoon on dried fruit, cheese and pastries… Read more →

  • Spring buds

I noticed these daffodil (?) buds peering through the mossy grit of Addison’s Walk this morning. Amusing session of Articulate! in the evening with ES, EH (an unstoppable duo) and others. Read more →

  • St John’s entranceway

Procrastinated most of the morning, then made up for it by working solidly until an orchestra rehearsal. Unfortunately, supper was chips and a kebab, on account of missing dinner and not having any cooking supplies. Read more →
