Palm Shadows
Palm fronds hang over the shade cloth at Byron Bay’s best café, Espresso Head. After a delicious (albeit wheat-free) lunch, I do some shopping and watch Zimbabwe get walloped in the cricket. Read more →

Backgammon on the Verandah
The sky darkens and the first signs of monsoonal weather begin to surface. Quiet afternoon spent playing backgammon, followed by an evening bout of volleyball. Read more →
